The Taste of Home LIVE Cooking School is returning to Hutchinson on Thursday, March 19, and culinary arts students from the Hutchinson Career and Technical Education Academy at Hutchinson High School will play a role in the program. Karen Montoya’s culinary arts students will do all the prep work for the cooking school and will help culinary specialist Jamie Dunn on Stage. The stage demonstration of approximately 10 recipes will last about 2 hours and is suitable for a home cook with all levels of food experience. In addition to the show, attendees will receive a gift bag with their ticket purchase, retail savings and a complimentary Taste of Home recipe collection. The show is a partnership between Cabinet Connections and HCTEA to sell tickets for the show and with proceeds used for culinary arts scholarship money.
